We also encourage a contextual examination of the chapter in which this verse appears, as it would be rewarding.وَ لِلّٰہِ الۡمَشۡرِقُ وَ الۡمَغۡرِبُ ٭ فَاَیۡنَمَا تُوَلُّوۡا فَثَمَّ وَجۡہُ اللّٰہِ ؕ اِنَّ اللّٰہَ وَاسِعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ
The East and the West belong to God. Whichever way you turn, there is the Face of God. God is all pervading and all knowing. (Maulana Wahiduddin Khan translation)
